Austroads Technical Specification ATS 4520 sets out the requirements for the supply of Luminaires for use in Category V lighting schemes in accordance with AS/NZS 1158.1.1.
If specified in the Contract documents, this Specification also applies to the supply of Luminaires designed for:
- a) Category P lighting schemes in accordance with AS/NZS 1158.3.1;
- b) lighting of pedestrian crossings in accordance with AS 1158.4; and/or
- c) lighting of tunnels and underpasses in accordance with AS 1158.5.
The Contractor must ensure that the Luminaires are supplied in accordance with this Specification. The Supplier and Contractor may be the same entity.
