Associated Projects & Initiatives
Austroads' Vehicles and Technology Program collaborates closely with a number of other programs and initiatives that are lead by other key government and industry stakeholders. These include:
- Commonwealth Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development (DIRD)
- National transport policy, including the National Policy Framework for Land Transport Technology
- Motor vehicle regulations and standards
- National Transport Commission (NTC)
- Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA)
- Geoscience Australia and the National Positioning Infrastructure Advisory Board
- Geoscience Australia coordinates a national approach to positioning infrastructure and services, which will benefit various services including C-ITS and AVs
