Austroads welcomes the news of Louise McCormick’s appointment as the Chief Executive of the Northern Territory Department of Logistics and Infrastructure (DLI).
Louise is the Austroads Chair. Louise’s appointment as Chief Executive DLI is another significant milestone in Louise's distinguished career. It is a testament to her exceptional leadership and achievements within the transport and infrastructure sectors.
“As the first female Chair of the Austroads Board, Louise has set a high standard of leadership and excellence. Her strategic vision has been instrumental in guiding Austroads' initiatives and advancing Australian transport industry,” said Geoff Allan, Austroads Chief Executive.
Louise has been a driving force in the Northern Territory’s transport infrastructure projects, demonstrating her ability to innovate and effectively manage complex challenges. Her receipt of the esteemed John Shaw Medal, awarded for making an outstanding and lasting contribution to Australia’s roads, underscores her dedication and impact.
