Project Number: APT6124
The project will develop a new Austroads laboratory testing protocol which can be used in the assessment of Australian and New Zealand asphalt mixes containing liquid anti-stripping additives. It will investigate the effects of the selection of different specimen preparation and testing options on improving the ability to better distinguish between the moisture susceptibility of different asphalt mixes in the laboratory. The project will build on the following previous Austroads project APT6048 Feasibility of Using Anti-stripping Additives as an Alternative to Hydrated Lime.
