Austroads published the first edition of Future Vehicles 2030 (AP-R623-20) in June 2020. The report forecasts the sales and fleet penetration for eight vehicle technologies or uses based on research undertaken in late 2019. It was intended that the forecasts be updated annually to reflect changes in anticipated technology adoption. This project undertakes the first update and extends the forecast horizon to 2031 (i.e. maintaining the 10-year forecast).
