Each year Austroads produces an annual report which details its work program, operations and financial management.
The annual report provides a detailed review of the strategic focus of each Austroads Program as well as the projects completed and progressed during the year.
At a glance, in 2015-16 Austroads:
- invested $12.9m in a roads related research work program including $4.4m in infrastructure design and testing, $3m in asset management, $2m in road network management and $1.4m in road safety
- undertook work in 148 projects, completing 62 during the year
- published 79 reports and updates to the Austroads Guides (with 317,000 publications sold and downloaded)
- enabled 125m driver licence and vehicle registration database transactions via the National Exchange of Vehicle Data Information Service (NEVDIS).
