Road Design Task Force

The Road Design Task Force has representatives from Australian and New Zealand road agencies, and the Australian Local Government Association (ALGA).

The Task Force aims to ensure the safest, most consistent road network by:

  • developing and promoting best practice road design
  • commissioning innovative research to provide practitioners with harmonised world-class design guides.

The Task Force considers all aspects of road design and is responsible for the ongoing development of the Austroads Guide to Road Design.
