The pre-production/beta version of Austroads’ Digital Trust Service has been tested and the results confirmed that it can be scaled up nationally. The Digital Trust Service provides relying parties with a list of issuing authority public keys that are used to authenticate mobile driver licences issued by the Australian states and territories.

A demonstration project led by Austroads has successfully shown that roads can be paved with asphalt incorporating crumb rubber from sources other than truck tyres, without compromising asphalt performance.
